Shipping, Delivery & Returns

Geelong Weaving Mill uses Australia Post for standard Australian delivery up to 5kg. 

$10 Standard delivery charge for parcels up to 5kg, Australia Wide. 

$50 Standard delivery charge for parcels up to 5kg,

$65 Standard shipping to New Zealand. 

Example of product shipping: 

  • 2 x blankets weighs less than 5kg 
  • 5m of fabric, folded weighs less than 5kg 

For parcels over 5kg, shipping is calculated and quoted at checkout. 

6m and over of fabric is packaged on a roll, shipping is calculated and quoted at checkout.

Local pickup is available from our Mill. Please select Local Pickup at checkout.  

Regular collection time is Wednesday from 12noon-2pm or by appointment. An email is sent to confirm pickup arrangements.

You can track your order using the consignment number, email address you used and URL contained in the Shipping Confirmation email sent to you once your order has shipped from our warehouse.

International Orders

International orders are shipped via Australia Post.

Shipping is quoted based on your order quantity and weight of items. Please enquire by email for assistance to request a quotation for consideration and approval for payment and shipping.

Prices are listed in AUD and inclusive of Australian GST.

Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of the parcels. Limitations are placed on the size of the parcel that can be shipped. The maximum length via Australia Post is 105cm. This means in most cases the fabric will need to be folded to be shipped.

A separate estimate can be provided for fabric to be supplied on a roll. The cost of this can be provided for your consideration and invoiced separately for payment.

Please check your local customs and duties charges and exemptions related to personal use. We cannot take responsibility for any duties or taxes incurred from international purchases.

Returns Policy

All orders are carefully checked and cut before they are sent to ensure your goods arrive as have been ordered. If you believe your item is incorrect, damaged or faulty you must notify us by email to within 5 days of receipt of goods.

Once we have received the goods back and confirmed they are faulty or incorrect a replacement of the same item will be sent by registered post unless the goods are out of stock then you may wish to choose an alternative fabric, the option of a refund or store credit for the value of the item. All goods must be returned to us via registered mail to Geelong Textiles Australia, PO Box 1870, Geelong, Victoria 3220.

Return postage costs to be paid by customer. Postage costs of the original order will not be included in store credits. Please check your fabric carefully before printing, dyeing, washing, cutting or producing an item, as once this has been done a store credit or refund will not be accepted.

FABRIC: We do not refund if you have a change of mind about your fabric purchase for any reason including your colour choice. If unsure in any way, we recommend ordering a swatch to ensure the fabric will meet your needs before placing your order for cut fabric.

BLANKETS: If you would like to exchange your blanket for another one, you need to send it back to us for a refund within 14 days from date of order, and place a new order online for the blanket you would like.  Postage costs are not refunded.  Return postage costs to be paid by the customer.
